 Military Condition 

  At the time of Babur's invasion, the military system of India was also not satisfactory. He had many faults. The Indian people were ignorant of the latest equipment being manufactured in the world and the cannons, which were being used extensively in Central Asia, were a thing completely ignorant to the Indians. The military system of the Indians was also faulty. There was a complete lack of organization among the soldiers. There were many classes of soldiers in the Indian army, such as Turks, Afghans, indigenous Muslims, Hindus, etc., who were more devoted to the leader of their caste or class than the Sultan and if their leader wanted, they were ready to fight against the Sultan. There was a complete absence of nationalism in the army. 

  The division of the army was also divided into four parts according to the ancient method. Hasti was the head of the army, who, in front of the fierce fire of cannons, started running backwards, trampling their own army. Due to this faulty oriental military system, despite being large in Indian numbers, he could not stand before Babur's selected well-educated army and Babur was successful in conquering India. Thus India's JERIME PRIS political disorder and the ancient military system became the main reason for the defeat of Indians.

सैनिक स्थिति 

  बाबर के आक्रमण के समय भारत की सैन्य व्यवस्था भी संतोषजनक नहीं थी । उनमें अनेक दोष थे । भारतीय लोग संसार में निर्मित होने वाले आधुनिकतम उपकरणों से अनभिज्ञ थे तथा तोप जिनका प्रयोग मध्य एशिया में बहुलता से किया जाने लगा था , भारतीयों के लिए सर्वथा अनभिज्ञ वस्तु थी । भारतीयों की सैन्य व्यवस्था भी दोषपूर्ण थी । सैनिकों में संगठन का पूर्णतः अभाव था । भारतीय सेना में तुर्क , अफगान , देशी मुसलमान , हिन्दू आदि अनेक वर्गों के सैनिक थे , जो सुल्तान से अधिक अपनी जाति अथवा वर्ग के नेता के प्रति स्वामीभक्त होते थे तथा यदि उनका नेता चाहे तो वे सुल्तान के विरुद्ध युद्ध करने को तैयार रहते थे । सेना में राष्ट्रीयता का पूर्णतः अभाव था । 

 सेना का विभाजन भी प्राचीन पद्धति के अनुसार चार भागों में विभक्त था । हस्ति सेना की प्रधानता थी जो तोपों की भयंकर अग्नि के सम्मुख पीछे की ओर अपनी ही सेना को रौंदते हुए भागने लगते थे । इस दोषपूर्ण प्राची सैन्य व्यवस्था के कारण भारतीय संख्या में अधिक होते हुए भी बाबर की गिनी - चुनी सुशिक्षित सेना के सम्मुख टिक न सके तथा बाबर को भारत पर विजय प्राप्त करने में सफलता मिली । इस प्रकार भारत की JERIME PRIS राजनीतिक विशृंखलता तथा प्राचीन सैन्य व्यवस्था भारतीयों की पराजय का प्रमुख कारण बन गया ।
